The Humble Renewable Energy Plant is a 20,000 square foot natural gas processing plant owned by Montauk Energy. Located at the Atascocita Landfill, this facility converts raw landfill gas to pipeline quality gas.

Brandt teamed up with Whiting-Turner Construction in Houston to perform the mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) scope of work. Our team furnished all supervision, labor, materials, equipment, tools, and testing necessary to the complete the project.

Our services included:
  • Furnishing and installing the gas conversion process and cooling water pipes
  • Installation of all electrical elements within the facility
  • Setting the heavy equipment
  • Providing instrumentation and controls for the gas conversion process

This project represented private and public entities teaming up to transform waste into a clean energy source for generations to come.
